2001 - Seven Sisters Group were commissioned to create a piece for the 50th Anniversary  of the Royal Festival Hall. Entitled 'Ballroom' it used amateur ballroom and professional contemporary dancers  in a celebration of five decades of social dancing in London. The ballroom dancers came from the Thursday night class at Cafe Society in Leicester Square.

With support from Breckland Council as part of their community dance programme, Xavier & Joanna hosted an evening of tango music and dance. The social and amateur dancers ranged from complete beginners, through to those who had danced for 10 years or more. They were challenged to tango to a range of music from traditional tango, through Klezmer and Irish Polka to Rucenitsa, with a little jazz and swing thrown into the mix. The music was created and provided by Pete Allison and members of  Novinka Folskaband.
